Seen is a magazine that features the unseen! The goal was to create a bold and edgy brand identity.

Solution

To achieve this image the visual aspect such as colour, typography and photography have been carefully used to create this edgy feel for the magazine.  The colours are neon specifically, green, yellow, blue and pink, the neon colours are bold and bright which stand out from the crowd. The typography has natural curves and waves this was enhanced in the magazine cover and photography.  The photography contains the unseen, such as an older lady, a man with prosthetics as well as a younger lady with unusual photography, angles and effects. The cover contains repetition of "seen"  to add to the edgy feel, repetition can also be found within the spreads. The layout of the pages also contains unusual paragraph placements which are not seen often. Every choice was made to create an edgy and bold feeling.
